Costco Wholesale Warehouse for Mainbrace Construction (Project Value = $5.6 Million).

 

Costco Wholesale Warehouse in Casula is our largest project to date with a site area of 60,000m2. The existing site was flat and water logged, requiring extensive remediation to re-use all spoil onsite. With this complication and other issues such as asbestos and rain we were still able to complete project in 23 weeks by going above and beyond making this project the fastest built Costco in Australia.  The project consisted of a 23,500m2 carpark, 14,500m2 warehouse, access roads, petrol station and $950,000 of civil stormwater including an 8m deep excavation to install two GPT’s.

 

Scope:   Site Remediation, Bulk Earthworks, Detail Excavation, Civil Stormwater, Slab Preparation, Civil Carpark Works, Council Road Works.

Masters Home Improvement St Marys for Taylor Construction (Project Value = $3.2 Million)

 

The project consisted of Masters Home Improvement Warehouse and adjacent car park on a 45,000m2 site with unrolled fill. The site required Dynamic Compaction of the existing fill and remediation and encapsulation of asbestos onsite. The site required 20,000m3 of fill to raise the site above the flood plain.

 

Scope: Minor Demolition, Dynamic Compaction, Onsite Absestos Remediation, Bulk Filling, Detail Excavation, Civil Stormwater, Civil Car park Works, Council Road Works including slip lane and right hand turn lane to RMS specification.
