BATEMANS BAY AQUATIC CENTRE

The Eurobodalla Council project for ADCO entails demolishing the existing aquatic centre and putt putt golf, and constructing a new and improved aquatic centre consisting of one 25m pool, three leisure pools, four tower slides, a gymnasium and theatre. This project aims to enhance the local community and brighten tourist attraction within the Batemans Bay region. This project requires more detail and constraint with vital key to detail, demonstrating challenges revolving around management of unknown and hazardous material, the level of a water table close to the surface and protection towards Aboriginal heritage artefacts and mangrove zones.

Scope of Work:




• Removal of 3,300T of contaminated asbestos material.
• Disposal of old pool.
• Chop and mulching of 105 trees across the site.
• Detail excavation - pad footings, capping beams, retaining wall footings, tree pits, strip footings.
